A pet owner since childhood, Kelly King has commemorated every small soul that has passed in her lifetime. Hamsters, turtles, mice, cats, dogs...  each given their own respects with a heartfelt homily and all the pageantry deserving of our most faithful friends.

Kelly is motivated by personal experience to offer pet owners a beautiful farewell memory to look back on.  In 2001, a few events (and people) came together to give Kelly and her dog Buffy such a tender experience at his crossing that it sparked a calling to share that gift with any pet owner who desires it.

With a background of skills in hospitality, event planning, customer service, business administration, public speaking, creative writing, visual design, and living among 6 pets at once... Kelly is uniquely qualified to provide a wide range of services to help best... when you need it most.

In 2002, Kelly adopted Truman, who remains her only living pet today. During Truman's puppy years, Kelly served on the original volunteer board for the Leash-Free Alliance of Piedmont Park (LAPP) and volunteered for several pet-related events across Atlanta.

Truman turned 14 this summer (2016). He may be a little slower (and a little more hard of hearing), but he can still catch a Frisbee, track a ball, and toss himself a stick. Good boy!

2017 Update: Truman has his own Tender Crossing on July 21, two weeks after his 15th birthday. He is missed every day.
